John Raymond Volunteer Awards The John Raymond Volunteer Awards are presented to individuals with who have contributed endless effort and time the Vermont Morgan Horse Association. The awards are in recognition of John Raymond, a long time member and volunteer for the VMHA. The VT Morgan Horse Association, Inc is continuing to encourage excellence in its members by providing a memorial scholarship each year to an outstanding man or woman who would like to continue to continue their education. Applications are being accepted for the 2008 scholarship. Deadline is March 1, 2008. VMHA Open Awards VMHA promotes the Morgan Horse for competitors who wish to show at open competitions not limited to Morgans. Annual Awards are given out at the Spring Pot Luck Dinner. Each division has a champion and reserve champion plus places to 6th, In recent years the top three in each division have received monogrammed clothing with the division, horse and owner's name.
