A very cool specimen of Purple Phantom Dodecahedral Fluorite composed out of smaller cubic Fluorite crystals with Spheroidal Phantoms on a Quartz Matrix from the Orange River in Namibia. A very aesthetic specimen with a lot going on. The buildup of the Fluorite is stunning and intricate with cubes stacking up to form a Dodecahedral crystallization. My favorite feature of this specimen is that both the two large crystals and the little one in the middle each have an orange growth of Hematite on the surface at the center of each crystal. The surface luster on this specimen is just incredible. In addition there are little sparkling crystals of glittering golden Pyrite included within the Fluorite. The intricate mathematics of this specimen boggles the mind. Much better in person.
