All FWAFER models have been tested to comply with UL 263/ASTM E119 for a 2-hour fire test rating. They are also certified to UL standard 1598. These field-adjustable wafer downlights allow you to change color temperature (2700/3000/3500/4000/5000K) with the flick of a switch! They’re ideal for both new construction and retrofit applications. Models are offered in 4" (11W) and 6" (15W) in both smooth and baffle trims. Installations are super flexible with an off-board driver that minimizes installation height, maximizes thermal management, and eliminates the need for a traditional recessed housing or "can". A plenum-rated cable connector links the downlight module to the remote driver, and then the module snaps into place with the adjustable, spring-loaded retention clips. The remote driver box has quick connectors, knockouts and plenty of space for daisy chain wiring or adding an emergency backup unit. Edge-lit design minimizes glare. Back-lit downlights deliver a more vertical distribution, putting the light directly on the work surface. Edge-lit wafers use a reflective panel to disperse a wider, smoother distribution that reduces glare. All wafers are dimmable—with most common TRIAC forward and reverse phase cut dimmers (120V) —and Title 24 compliant. 90 CRI provides accurate color rendering, making them ideal for commercial applications where color is critical. Can be installed in ceilings from 3/8" to 5/8" thick with spring-loaded retention clips. Cutout template included in box. Can be removed from below the ceiling for service or replacement.
