Compatible with B-Series engines from 1988 to 2001 and D-Series engines from 1988 to 2000, excluding D16Z6.This thermostat housing is a direct replacement for the unit and installs in the factory location beside the intake manifold using two bolts.The housing features a threaded water outlet port sized for a standard 1.25-inch radiator hose fitting, with thread specification 16OR (1-5/16-12 SAE) and an sealed port.It also includes a port for the fan switch and a 1/8 NPT accessory port, with a plug provided for the accessory port if not used.A machined and threaded M6 hole is included for the engine harness ground ring.Two hole locations accommodate fitment across all applicable B-Series and D-Series engines.The radiator outlet follows the angle, slightly upward.Slight modification may be required for some transmissions.May not fit with some scattershields.
